Portraits from Photographs:
Please, send us photograph(s) and/or
instructions regarding theme, color and dimension choices to our contact addresses via
regular mail, e-mail, schedule a pick up* or hand it over at the studio location. A secure online order is also available via Google checkout.
When sending photographs via regular mail, please either use sturdy envelopes or insert a cardboard in the envelope
and write a note on it: "Photographs - Do not bend". We will return all photographs in original conditions along with the portrait.
If you e-mail or upload a digital or a scanned photo, make sure it's in the highest resolution possible.
If you are not sure that photos you have show true you, we may schedule a photo session
to capture an inner you on film.
For mail, phone or e-mail orders, we'll contact you with the quote, which
depends on details and complexity of the painting and, upon agreement,
our artist start working on your art piece.
Each portrait requires quite some time
from the artist, so we ask for a 50% none-refundable deposit at
the time of placing the order.
Allow us at least 2 weeks (1 week for B&W portraits) to finish
the order plus a shipping time.
We can deliver* your order to you or ship it by UPS/FedEx/USPS* for an additional cost.
Color Portraits Live:
Contact
us either way you want to get a price quote and to schedule posing
sessions.
Posing is a hard work. It takes approximately 10-12 hours of sitting or standing still
(and keeping that charming smile you probably want to see on your portrait).
Which easily translates to a couple weeks of sessions. We gladly do live portraits,
however we encourage you to think twice before choosing live portraits over ones from photos.
- Basic estimate is free*.
- Comprehensive project sketches require quite a bit of preparation
from the artist. So we charge a 10% non-refundable preparation fee,
deductible from the total price.
- 40% of all costs due before the first day of painting.
- Prices may vary depending on wall or ceiling surface, height and
other factors.
- Please, keep in mind additional assistant, scaffold and travel/logging expenses,
should they apply. NOTE: We can gladly do both wall/ceiling/floor and canvas murals for you, however we highly recommend you
murals on canvas. We do a fine art work and it will be a shame if you can't pass it to your descendants as a family heritage.
Musical Instrument Finishing:
- Guitar finishing - from $1,000.00.
- Please contact us for other instrument finishing quotes.

Wall, Ceiling, Floor Murals:
Please, call or e-mail us
to discuss the project. On this stage we want to get a general
understanding of the project you have in mind.
We schedule an onsite
visit* to discuss specifics of the project: scope, theme, color
palette, time and price constrains.
Design sketches are presented
and you chose which one you like more. It's unseen, but
extensive work, so we charge 10% fee on this stage. Selected
design is worked out more thoroughly and presented to you for the
final approval.
Upon acceptance of the
design and project milestones, a contract is signed, work schedule is
planned and 40% of the project cost due. If you want to make any changes in design or partially
painted work after this step, there will additional charges.
Painting starts. At this stage we expect the work area is clear of all furniture and other obstacles.
We do not mind if kids, dogs and cats watch our progress, but, please, keep an eye on them.
Oil paint tracks on your hardwood floor is probably not the kind of decoration you wanted.
Painting completed and
client's "Wow!" and remaining balance is collected.
